Here’s the list for you (in the order of release date).
Bairavaa
Thalapathi Vijay starrer Bairavaa rocked at box office. The movie is a cool action masala that pleased Vijay fans and others.
Bairavaa was not just a Vijay movie but has a deep social message and touches the improper system of medical colleges!
For Vijay’s action, the social message, and for Keerthi’s stellar performance the movie is definitely an entertainer. The songs are so energetic with fast paced dance moves to capture those who are fans of Vijay’s dance!
Bogan
After Thani Oruvan, Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy shared the screen with their terrific performance. Arvind Swamy plays someone who has mastered the power to switch souls.
Using that power he carries out robberies and other crimes. He crosses lines with cop Jayam Ravi and how he tackles the mess forms the story.
With a different and captivating script and with the mind blowing performances of Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy the movie is definitely worth the watch again (and again).
Singam 3
After the successful Singam 1 and 2, Suriya is back with Singam 3 (Si3). Just like in the previous two movies in the series, Suriya plays a tough cop.
Anushka plays the lady lead and is as graceful as she appears in the other two films. Sruthi Hassan also plays a role in the movie.
In each of the Singam movies, Suriya fights a villain with a specific motive. Here it is about dumping biological and electrical waste!
The movie is an action packed thriller.

The movie is a remake of the Telugu film Pataas. The star cast includes Raghava Lawrence, Nikki Galrani, Sathyaraj and Ashutosh Rana in the prominent roles.
While the screenplay could have been a bit more tighter, MSKS easily makes a commercial action film.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion
After the release of Baahubali: The Beginning, we were left to wait for a whole year to know why Kattappa killed Baahubali. And Baahubali 2: The Conclusion had the answer to that question.
One of the mega hits in 2017, Baahubali was released in multiple languages apart from Tamil and did extraordinarily well in the box office.
With action, sentiment, visuals and a perfect star cast, Baahubali 2 is something you can watch multiple times for various reasons.
Vanamagan
Jayam Ravi took up on a different role with Vanamagan where he plays the son of a leader of a tribe. He happens to cross lines with the lady lead of the movie, Sayyeshaa, and spends some time in the city.
Back in the jungle his fellow men are killed in an attempt to acquire their land – the acquisition is actually done by Sayyeshaa’s company.
Meanwhile Sayyeshaa falls in love with Vaasi and how they escape the forces that come after them form the rest of the story.
The movie is a combination of action, comedy and sentiment and has breathtaking visuals.
Vikram Vedha
Vikram Vedha drew a lot of praise for the outstanding performances of R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. The screenplay is another hero of the movie.
The movie brings out the “right” side of a criminal and how a policeman fails to realize that.
The movie is narrated in a very elegant way so we can slowly connect the dots and see how things unravel as the movie progresses.
Totally worth the watch!
Vivegam
Thala Ajith Kumar starrer Vivegam is a complete action thriller.
Especially for Ajith plays an interpol agent who is betrayed by his friends that work for a secret agency.

A Mysskin trademark, Thupparivalan, has Vishal, Prasanna, Vinay, Bhagiyajar, and Andrea Jeremiah in pivotal roles.
The movie is about a detective who unravels a simple case of a dog that’s shot and that leads him to a gang that kills for money.
The gang has already involved in doing brilliantly planned murders and slowly as the detective gets closer to finding their identity, things get personal.
Don’t miss Thupparivalan if you are a Mysskin fan or a fan of watching crime action thrillers.
Mersal
One of the movies that gathered so much controversy in 2017 is Mersal. All that controversy worked for the movie and it did exceptionally well in the box office.
Mersal is all about medical crimes and the movie has some hot dialogues against the government and the system in general.
If you are a fan of Thalapathy you cannot get enough of him in the movie. You have three of them, actually!
Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru
Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru is a movie that highlights how tough the life of cops is! A cop, played by Karthi, starts investigating a dacoity case that involves brutal murders of many families in Tamil Nadu.
